Manny O's Service was good, very attentive and the lady serving us was very knowledgable. However, I found it a bit too obtrusive sometimes. They would force you to listen to them explain the different tapas (even when you were too hungry to listen or having too much fun chatting with friends to care). Sometimes, Id just like to savor the food and not care what it is. If I get curious, then Ill ask. The wine selection was pretty good. specially the red wine. Hmm...i couldnt get a good look at the bottle..it started with a letter W. I hear the wine selection was hand picked by the owners, no Hilton touch there. ![]() I highly recommend the...geez, i forgot the name...basta, its like lumpia with margarita dip, pretty good. My favorite would be the spikey shomai. Interesting. The margarita pizza, dont bother. The salpicao, good. Very tender, a bit too oily for me but many of my meat loving friends enjoyed it. Over all, we had a good time in Manny O's. |

@ Namnori: My apology! How embarrassing...i must have been thinking of a different conversation when I was thinking of Austria.
@ bulaklak: Sorry I wasnt able to see your post on time...I hope you found a good restaurant for Valentines. Anyway, in Guadalupe..there are alot of small restaurants for food trips. Qstick, for that baby back ribs with super spicy sauce. There's that spanish restaurant in Fairlane, but the name of the restaurant escapes me (ill leave it at that for now, before ko masayop napud hehe). Then there's Zao, food was good before but service was really slow (worth checking). @Neoxdeath: its still in Sogod (i hope..the last time I was there was mid last year i think). Its to the left side of the road if your going back to Cebu city. Big orange sign by the road. |

You guys should check out Cebu Italian Pizza connection. It's near Velez and accross from Joe's Chicken Inato. The Pizza is great. Authentic Sicilian stuff. Thin crust, but very delicious. The Calzone is very good as well and the risoto is ridiculously good. It'll probably close at around april or may so you guys better check it out before then =p
