Gustavian in Ayala Terraces

The menu prices will kill you. Shocked ming duha sa akong bana. But when our orders arrived( Salmon og spareribs lang), lami baya. Nicely done ang salmon. sus, 1500 pud among nabayad for the 2 plus iced tea.

uhmmm..
Gustavian high menu prices.. its a high class dining.. but the experience is good.. paid 400 plus for 1 sandwich roast beef + juices (that's just snack) wala pako ka eat sa ilang main course .. rate : 8/10

sizzlin pepper steak , nice steaks and small place but good for food trip.. price is high compared to our sizzling plate.. hehehe rate: 6/10

Pino, Food and price dili na angay lalison.. lami ang food and fast order .. but ayaw lng ug order sa ilang Cocktail drinks kay wala jud lami.. anyway food jud ilang specialty rate: 9/10

Lemongrass, Lami jud ang ilang food mouth watering.. fresh lumpia lami ,ilang pork spareribs daghan ug unod and mixed seafood soup lami.. chicken curry with eggplant yummy jud and bagoong rice.. cost : expensive. rate: 9/10

never really ventured into this thread but i'd like to know what you guys think bout Cowrie Cove sa Shang. i've only been there twice. first was only to meet a friend and if my memory serves me right, i didn't eat a thing. the second time was over a month ago and, yes, as expected, the price was quite high but i'm not so sure i enjoyed our dinner there. our total bill was like P20,000++ for 6 people. and yes, i started to think bout the streetchildren, but, i wasn't paying so...

i would probably blame it on the champagne and white wine but then i could barely remember what we ate. what i do remember is that we were looking at fish and lobsters swimming in their little aquariums and after a few minutes, they were on our tables looking like they died a quick death.

now i've got visitors arriving in a few weeks. so, i'm still not sure if i'd recommend the restaurant again.
