I suggest checking out restos that have local cuisine, im sure they have a portion of menu with seafoods, unless u want to go to Mactan. I like Golden Cowry in Lahug

Jaded, I find Ricas Cafe a good spot, they have good food and very cozy. Its below The Spa road going to Maria Luisa

@KE, regarding Ricas cafe how much kaha ang ma budget for a 2-person date ?

and regarding its location, since la man ko car gud, dli na cya layu if sa may flyover ko munaog then lakaw lang sud sa maria luisa ? hehe... (i budget for travel expenses but not for food though)

planning to try it this weekend.... if mkakita ko ug kadate..


@all suggest pud ko sa roma-mia sa IT park, i rate it 3.5/5
fud was great. specially katong godfather steak nila w/ herb sauce... nyam nyam... (4/5)
plus the calzone (di ko sure if sakto spelling) (3/5)
then ang ilang pizza lami sad (kalimot ko sa name) (3/5)

i know i have a cultured tongue (yup! bcoz of my mom - the best cook in the world!) but ever since i got to college here in cebu, started eating knang pang student ra na maafford na fud (fastfood, manokan, ngohiongan carenderia etc... ), morag ni degrade na guro akong taste buds... hehehe... and bago2x ra sad ni nibalik akong trip sa food (since mkaaford na ta gamay kay naa nman ko work)
so bare w/ me lang ha if bsin mag expect mo ug dako2x sa kani na place...

ambiance - 3.5/5 (kay di ko nahan if hayag ra kau ang place) +points sa ilang mga classic musics and the big classic posters nya limpyo ang environment
service - 3/5 (nay gwapa na waitress ) btaw... timing ra guro to na gamay taw kay weekdays man... expect lang dugay2x na serving if daghan taw... (but not that dugay cguro)
price - 3/5 (price was worth the taste)

try nya ninu... nya let me know lang kay naa ra man ko gawork sa IT park pud... bsin mkakuyog ko hehehhe...

On Ricas Cafe, I suggest bring 1k to be sure not including public transpo. Their entree meals are on avg 250 - 380 give or take. My beef Salpicao using angus beef was within that price range.

As for transpo if u want to ride jeep, I know some stop at the caltex across entrance Maria Luisa, u can cross under flyover into road leading to village, once u see the Spa go into gate shouldnt be a long walk.
If u decide taxi w/c I suggest because it is dusty there, ur looking at 100-150 less if from lahug or ayala.

Ako ug akong sister ug iya family ni kaon dri kay ligi daw kay sharon cuneta..ambut unsay connection...so mao tu, sugat dayun mi sa ilang mga food attendant...mura sad ug VIP ang feeling..nice ila treatment..nabag-ohan ko sa ila style(compared sa ubang restaurants). atiman kaau sila nimo, ang manager cge sad balik balik, ambut lang sad manager ba tu nila. Ila food kay saktu ra sad, d kaau lami, d sad bati kaau.. nalingaw sad ko sa ilang style nga mag grill grill ka sa table, dugay lang ka mka kaon..pero lingaw ra sad cya..ang price nila ok ok ra sad..pero generally it was worth it, kay atiman kaau sila.

service 9/10
price 1400+ for 5 persons

Tara's Cafe - Andres Abellana St.(Guadalupe Area)

i went there with my husband to try their food. the food's great, you have a lot of selections to choose from. we ordered their soup for the day and opted to have their steaks. I was satisfied with their food and service, especially. their attendants are attentive, and make sure you are well taken cared of. I considered them the most attentive attendants, so far. hehehe..... sige sila tan-aw2x and check kung naa bay mutawag nila or angay na ba kuhaon imo plate for the next course. ok ra pud price sa ila food. you should give it a try. we paid less than 1k. pero depende ra pud na sa inyo i order ha.
