Allright from Banilad go straight past Banilad town center, you should hit the new overpass construction, at what used to be an intersection you make a right , then at the corner a uturn back heading road going into Maria Luisa (where Hola Espana, The Spa, Guissepes, etc), once u see a big Sign "The Spa" u go into their driveway, park car and head to The spa entrance, u should see a nice elegant black door with Ricas on it. Anyway enjoy

Quick Review: Phat Thursday
Inside BTC , Big sign cant miss it

Thought id get a burger and since ive tried Dong Juan's, Flame it and Bros. felt like something new.

Here comes Phat Thursday , latest resto that serves gourmet burgers. Funny mom saw this in Sunstar and told me to try it.

After going over Menu, and looking around resto it seemed more of a sports bar than ur typical resto. It has a billiard table in back and an LCD screen by the bar to watch ur favorite cable or sports show.



Okay for the Menu, First I thought it was a little pricey, food selection average so I locked on to their main meal w/c was burgers and whiskey based entree. (note: just my opinion)

Burger! So had a Burger and salad

Started with:

Chicken Tenders w Green (P139-159)



Was dissapointed with salad, cost me P159 and serving was small, and I could easily count chicken tenders, taste was average with honey mustard sauce. ( my hope is we get a little more for price )

Phat Thursdays Cheese Burger ( P169-179 )



The burger to my suprise was very good, after taking a bite, I could taste the mix of onions, fresh beef, and lovely flovoured mustard, good job on putting all of it together, bread was pretty good too. So overall since I went there for the burger and not the salad I would try it out again, maybe another burger surprise

Davio, havent tried a new pizza place recently (wonder if there's any), the last one I went to was both La Tegola and Alberto's.
La Tegola was good and Alberto's was ok ( alberto's thoughts here: http://www.istorya.net/forums/food-a...s-pizza-7.html (Alberto's Pizza) ), Suprisingly I haven't tried Guissepes i heard it is good there but a bit pricey. If I was on a budget and dont need gourmet pizza i'd head back to handuraw

i have a stupidly important question... how do you eat those huge burgers you guys've been talking bout? ambot... i tried to eat it so many times but i always end up with an insanely messy table/plate.

Crinkle this works for me, have it sliced by server - normally I have it sliced halfway - or four ways or push it down and slice it.
