Kenny Rogers - Ayala has the worst customer service in all of Ayala's restos. And though the food is great, it doesn't have any presentation at all. The place is well painted however you'll see a lot of food debris, some mud and footprints on the floor, the table is sometimes sticky and improperly cleaned. Service crews don't care for you at all, they're like flashing here and there without any clues how to properly accomodate and entertain a customer. Talking about Kenny Rogers' American origins and "A Place You Can Call Home" spiel, it is totally the oppositte. I'd buy the food because it's really great but I'd rather eat it outside.

for those who love Chinese food so much that they wish they were Chinese...lol...Flavors of China at the Northwing is the place for you...

prices are similar to that of Red Moon, but the food and service is way, way better...plust the fact that you only get to pay 40+ for unlimited softdrinks or lemon iced tea--i really suggest this, since this is one of a few iced teas where you actually get to appreciate the lemon...

service is great, especially when it comes to refilling your drinks...plus the fact that they wont keep you waiting on an empty stomach, as they would provide a complimentary bowl of kropek while you wait...

a friend of mine argued that maybe the reason why i loved the taste of their food compared to those other shops that sell 'authentic' Chinese cuisine, is maybe because their food (Flavors of China) has been 'Filipinized', much like Krua Thai...well, i dont really know since im no culinary expert myself...but well, i'm not Chinese anyway--and despite the fact that maybe around 1/8-1/4 of the fluid that flows through my bloodstream is Chinese, i dont give much of a damn about it, unlike some wannabes blabbing about their i'm half so-and-so...hehehe sorry i got off track with that one--so what's so bad about their food 'allegedly' tasting Filipino?

Try Tsai in Crossroads. The place is quiet and not that big, but the second floor area can accommodate a small group of probably less than 20-30. Food is good and fits within your budget of P300 per person, but portions are not as hearty.

you can try Krua Thai's lunch and dinner buffet at BTC...
i find the service at this restaurant to be mid-level, not bad, but not excellent either, you have parking space, the food is great (pad thai, garlic ribs, tom yum, etc) for its price...
if you don't want to go the buffet route, they also have set menus say P1200 for a group of 4 but that's inclusive of appetizer, main course, dessert (total of 6 dishes if I remember it right) so sulit na...
