We arrived late for the dinner. The food was already ordered and all we had to do was wait for it to be served Mommy D' and Mommy Gwyn ordered for all of us. We had Shrimps, Patatim, Pancit, fried rice and Soup (mommy d' and mommy gwyn, help me out here on the names of the dishes...hehehe). The food arrived just on time for our hungry tummies The place does not have any airs or pretensions, it is so simple, like a typical hangout for students out for a very affordable meal. The meal was really SWAK sa budget...hehehe...P300 per head (i think this is because we ordered for a second plate of shrimps). The place is quite cozy and clean, we stayed long and enjoyed the place.

Food and price - 5/5 very affordable and very delicious
Place - 3.5/5 quite out of the way, if you are not familiar with the place you might get lost. we almost did.
service - 5/5 prompt
You forgot their fried chicken! Well it is easy to say "so what's the big deal it is just fried chicken"...but not that one we had at Siknoy's! You have to try it yourselves...as it is not easy to justify how good it was considering almost everybody can fry a chicken he he he....

@galadriel...off the top of my head mao ni nga dishes ako ma remember nga ato gi order...Spicy Sweet and Sour Shrimps on a bed of lettuce....it was probably good too considering we ordered another set he he he....the Patatim came with the ohhh sooo yummy fried bread, then the big noodles with assorted meat...this was my least favorite but I have a niece who swears by it...she is just 4 years old but she always insists we eat at Siknoy because of the noodles! Another favorite of mine was the Seafood Hotpot...

I went back to Siknoy with my family a few days ago and the chef wowed us again with new stuff...i told the owner the fried native chicken was too salty for my taste but the chicken with taro on chili coco sauce was a sure hit with me again!

They have a wide variety to choose from...dimsum, short orders, etc....I like this restaurant because it is easy on the pocket if you are taking the whole family. Very good food for very reasonable price!

Food / price - 5/5
Service - 5/5
Ambiance - 4/5

We not only ordered extra shrimps, we also ordered another large plate of fried rice.

I loved the seafood hotpot.

We went there again nung family ko and they loved the food! The new thing that we had was the buttered(battered yata dapat) chicken. Anton kept on eating and eating.

I was texted by Wilson to go back and try the chicken with taro but malayo kasi from us lalo na if we are all coming from different places. Kinda hard to get there if no car noh? What does one ride other than taxi?

VERY GOOD FOOD.

dong juan is in Guadalupe, in the place formerly occupied by MoooN and then Zao before they transferred to bigger locations...

they specialize in burgers and pizza...

does anybody know the store hours of siknoy? would love to try it but I wouldn't want to go all the way down there to find out that it's closed...
