Papah PISS ...

AFAIK regarding reheating food , just reheat it once lang . Mao na akong nabal-an ha , no scientific explanation at all . Thats the reason why when we cook , cook only good enough for the whole meal and not for the whole week to avoid reheating .

wow the infos here are great and very helpful. Hey people, would some of you happen to know the phone number of the Mandaue City Health department? there's this carenderya in wireless man gud and serves delicious but dirty food because the kitchen is so dirty (believe me i have seen it since i live near the carenderya) and i saw the cook just dump the veggies in the pot without washing. THis is horrifying, once a customer wanted to buy paklay and when he opened the paklay it was steaming hot....it looked so yummy but there was a small rat inside the steaming pot of paklay and the customer almost fainted. This is really really true. My friend ate batong or string beans and there was a half-piece of blade on the batong, good thing he saw it. The owner of this carenderya lives in san vicente village and is a former concessioner of san miguel. They used to cater at carmelites but terminated because the beef they served was cara-beef or emit nga karne. Oh well, i guess i have said a lot here. PLease let me know the number of the Mandaue city health if you guys have it. It would save lots of people i guess...[br]Posted on: July 02, 2007, 08:16:35 PM_________________________________________________ wow the infos here are great and very helpful. -HAND WASHING before and after with the right soap or antispetic sol'n
- remove jewelry when handling foods... they're fomites.
- wear mask if possible and hair net or simply keep your hair tied and neat
- washing of utensils PROPERLY is a must. Especially the fork where di kaayo ma kuha ang dirt in between.
- rinse the sponge often para dili mag balik² ang hugaw and use different cleaning materials for different areas of the kitchen such as the sink alone, the tiles and etc..

* unfortunately, some of the people here in our place would label you as "maarte" or even diagnose you of having OCD when you do these things even sa house lang. The point is, it's just better to be safe and prevent diseases. What is important is that you know the principles of proper hand washing / cleaning. Simple as that. And since naa manpud ta sa PInas, ok raman sad mag pungko² ta SOMETIMES para sad ma immune ta ug kagaw panagsa hehe
