i posted dis in another wen i shld hav posted it here first.
The Spa at Cebu #1 Paseo Saturnino, Ma. Luisa Road, Banilad, Cebu City Tel: +63 32 4120 888 / 4163 888 / 3451 777 www.thespacebu.com i've been to The Spa near foodland. its a bit pricey, but i was willing 2 find out f they wer worth it. pet peeve #1: when your supposed attendant s nowhere in sight after u had your sauna, shower, etc. wat i xpected was that they will b der 2 guide u. Case in point, after you strip 4 ur shower, they should be there to point to u where the shower room is. u dont wanna be left standing after ur shower, wondering wer ur attendant is, wer the sauna room is, etc. ing-ana ang nahitabo sa The Spa. dey wer apologetic tho, saying daghan daw customers. we went der almost 10pm ![]() pet peeve #2: noisy spa guests. in my case, i think koreans to sila. its a spa, for corn's sake! keep chatter to a minimum, refrain frm talking in loud voices like u own d spa. or just stop talking full stop [unless u need to speak to ur therapist]!!! plus points for: -wla nako nag request ug cold/iced towel pag sauna nako, na anticipate na nila, wich s good, dapat ing ana lng jd, ky sum spas man gud, kinahanglan pka mangayo ug cold/iced towel or iced water ba. -naay water dispenser right outside the sauna room -i had asthma wen i went der. during d massage, itchy aq throat, d masseuse was kind enuf to offer me a ginger tea. nwla akng sapot ani na time -the massage wasn't hurried, bsag closing time na d i to. rating from 1-5 wid 5 as highest: 3.5 1.5k for an hour n a half massage wid foot massage sumting |

Hello! My two-cents worth. My husband and I often experiment with new establishments for food, drinks and massage but when we find a place we like we tend to just go back and stick to it.
For massage I am fond of Sawadee Banilad. The staff is friendly and courteous, the masseuses competent. They have since moved from Cafe Georg to across Neo-Neo Banilad (between Foodland and Sto.Niņo Village) Unfortunately for them flyover traffic affects where they are badly right now.

I have been a fan of Thai massages ever since TonTon Thai Massage opened in Fuente. Before when they were still new, they really had excellent service as in tagdon gyud ka nila with matching orchids pa from Thailand man tingali to kay did2 nagtrain ilang staff. Karon commercialized na kaau cla then ang place di na kaau maau pagkamaintain pero in fairness their massages are still great. Ila foot massage is 75 pesos now compared sa 50 pesos sauna, ila back kay 100 pesos for 30 minutes. Humot kaau ang imong tiil after sa massage then asta ang hotpads ila ibutang sa imo likod while ga-foot massage humot sad kaau. Saba lang usahay kay daghan na kaau cla customer with matching 'shhhh' from their staff. My rating for them is 3/5.

a friend of mine tried it, and she loved it. they have a sauna room where you have your massage, its relaxing at the same time helps toxins out of the body. so two-in-one iyang effect. |
