I've tried Dr. Marilou Ong, Dr. Cabahug and Dr. Verallo and the one who was really able to cure my problem was Dr. Verallo.

The reason why I prefer his treatments is because he doesn't prick your face unless absolutely necessary, compared to the other dermatologists where there's always a "cleaning" session and your face gets pricked during every appointment which usually results in scabbing.

Yes, admittedly the waiting time is long--average of an hour based on my experience--and yes he's notorious for scolding patients who don't follow up, but in the end, its worth it.

His consultation is P200 i think and the ointments/creams are affordable also coz they last for months.

The only way to book an appointment is to call when they open at 8 am and block a certain time period during that day (ex. bet. 2-3 p.m or 4-5 p.m.); of course it depends on the availability as well. I usually book the last slot (5-6 p.m.) and just do undertime.

I used to go every month but once he cured my problem, I just have to go every six months now for maintenance

i recently went to marilou ong. ok ra mn sya. kadyot ra kaayo ang consulta ang prescription lang dugay. pwede raka pa appointment between 9-10am, the rest of the day kay 1st come 1st serve basis na. ug first tym ka nga patient is 400 ang fee pero after that 300 nalng.

I would say Dr.Alquisalas in Ma.Cristina Bldg.(3rd flr). I had severe acne in the past and she prescribed effective medication that will revitalize and clarify the skin for a softer and supple look. After that..........I have a big smile on my face again

Verallo is really good. I had a skin irritation before and after 3days it's gone because of the meds are just so effective.

basically, every dermatologist has their own way of treating pimples and they also have they're own medicines for you to use.
basically its a risk for any patients.

marilou ong is not the best. she was not able to help. she worstened my acne prob. When she realized that her creams/medications made my condition worst, she just told me to consult another derma. wat a ....

i went to verallo before but didn't get any result after using his prods for 2 months! and i already spent more than 2k at that time..it's so much money and i didn't get any good results..

i heard kate jones products are effective..

someone who can attest to that?

Ngeks! Most peeps kay nag-suggest either kang Dr. Ong or Dr. Verallo.
I see some good feedbacks but I notice some negative ones pud.... hehehe!

my derma is dr. ong.

she was able to cure my pimples due to hormonal imbalance... she doesnt look approachable though.

Dr. rosario (cebu doc) is also good... and mabait pa.

my derma is Dr. Bernad. Ok kau xa, she's very nice and accomodating.

Her clinic is at Perpetual succour.

Tried Dr. Verallo way back in college, but wla nako ad2 did2 oi, coz i think dili ko hiyang sa iya medication and medyo mangitum ka sa iyang mga tambal . Have pimples since highschool pa.

Only Dr Bernad was able to help me with my problem.
Mga 1.5k ako gasto during my first consultation, including medicines na ha.

Then during that time i was advice for IONTOPHORESIS, (mura xa facial) every week for the 1st month.

Ok na ako face run then wla na gani ko balik coz ok na man xa aside sa wla na wawart. hehehe

maintenance na lang karon is amira magic cream.

I still stick by Dr. Verallo. But for those who need a quick pimple fix (cortisone shot), Dermsite (near mercury drug) in Ayala is pretty good! :mrgreen: One shot is P450 though. a bit pricey.
