just curious- can you pls. elaborate on why fitness first sucks? I don't know anyone there from Adam - Snuzzy already explained why - so I just wanted to know why you don't like it there too. .
I myself have a story to tell and it's not favorable to them too. Thanx.

many reason i care not to remember/recall everything what had happened kay highblood nasad nya ko hehe. lisod na. but here are some bits of it.

i got two membership from them as part of their promo. they promised a lot of things. they never keep them. they advertise things thats not even going to be offered here in cebu...that bull if you ask me. and they kept that away from us clients not until we find out for ourselves in the end.

so i had a lot of concerns regarding my membership and when i complain, no one listens. wrote letters to manila. even to their regional main office (mind you it wasnt easy getting the names and addresses). no reply.
no one would come up with a solution. even the cebu manager (EDGE ang iya name i dont know if mao paba gyapon karon) ended up saying to my face"they are unprofessional and stupid and they know its wrong what they are doing but thats how it is with them". WHAT DA F**K....yes they admit they are wrong but they wont do anything to fix the problems im having. sapot gyud ko nila.

and they deducted monthly dues from my card even though i stop my subscription already.
and after that they would still call me up twice a week and give me crap about late payments coz i would have my card company block any of further deduction from them. funny thing is... 2 months ago their tele marketer actaully called me and invited me to join...again? never! hahahaha!

anyhow it took me 8 months of fighting to get back the unwaranted deduction of my credit card.
i actually filed a lawsuite againt them thats when they actually stoped bugging me.
oh yeah, they have in their fliers pa the one week money back gurantee...but they never honored that!
how stupid is that, the center opened 2-3 moths late! by the time it was opened baho pa kaayo pintal it be crazy to breath all that fumes. 7 days isnt even enough and they DONT EVEN HONOR it.
stupid gyud kaayo daghan pa lain things that happened i care not to post kay taas na kaayo.
oh and they demanded the crappy bag, towel, water bottle and headset back too...after i canceled my subscription hehehe. amaw gyud! hehe i wonder whos using my stuff now hahaha!

btw, they promised free personal lockers for each member...it didnt happen, you had to pay extra.
they promised a spa...with free massge and stuff. when they opened i learned from the manger its only available in other places not cebu and its with extra pay. they say they have prof fitness trainers to assist us as part of our membership. only to learn when i started out that the trainer will actually be 8,000 a month on top of the monthly membership fee. crazy! these are just a few of the inconsistencies i encountered there.

they tell you anything and everything you want to hear just so you will end up joining. and if you find out the terrible service they actualy provide, they still end up winners coz you already pay the joining fee which they "term" it differently lang pero mao ra gyapon gud na...its still the same membership fee.

sakto gyud si snuzzy, money first na sila...mao ra ila gi apas.

i remember they wouldnt accept my friend paying in cash. gusto nila credit card gyud. kay para auto deduct. saput sad kaayo ako miga adto nila hehe. mga gago na ng dala sa fitness first. gasalig sa international name that they bring...but one of the sneakest companies ive ever known! tuo nalang mo nako!

Yep Physical Therapy graduates..... Maayo lng sa botbot.. Either mga wangkig kaayo or mga tambok ug walay curves... Pero pareho rang mga botboton...

One of them (Physical Therapists) even have the nerve to ask me if I want to have a Physical Trainer, 10 sessions.. HELLO?? Do You think I need to have a physical trainer like you?? I have been into body building since katong sip-onon paka. By the looks of it, its you who needs one. Kanang mga seasoned trainers dha know me or familiar with me so they dont even bother to ask....

@markyap- Thanks bro for your story. I do believe you cause almost the exact same thing happened to me too. I got my refund after almost a year of countless calls to their office. It's true about the lousy service and false advertising too. And I didn't give their freebies back. Why should I ? Indian giver diay cla ? I didn't use ithem either. They're in my storage room. They ought to pay me if ever I decide to use their giveaway items. Why should I help to advertise such a lousy establishment? No doubt about it - Fitness First really sucks.

naay saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" the same goes for gym... naa ra gud na nimo.. mag canvas lang daghan pa man gym... there are threads already about diffrent gyms.. search lang
