for me, i would say both. my husband is handling all the major monthly expenses we have, while i do the everyday thing and some minor expenses. it has been going on smoothly for about 10 yrs now, whereas before i was the only one doing the budget thing and often gets frustrated when asked where the money went if there are times when i sometimes overdo things. but i was only a housewife at that time , now im also a working mom.

I won't say it should be the wife or the husband.basta whoever knows kay very critical bya ang finances in marriages. But the other one must also know kay in case the other has problem, then she'he can suggest and has also idea asa na ang inyong money.

sa atong panahon ron, dili na practical nga isa lang magdala ug kwarta within the family. Necessary na nga ang duha muhimo ug ways to handle financial matters. And as for the budgeting, kelangan pud nga magsabot ang duha para walay gubot.

Bro its better that the wife should handle . Husbands have tendencies to be spendthrifts and family funds would be well protected if handled by women. Though I would like to add that it depends on the character of the wife also.
