Can anyone tell me:
1. How to get to Apo Island from Cebu (please include details: approximate travel time, fare) 2. Where to stay in Apo Island (contact numbers if possible) From what I've researched there's Liberty Community Lodge and Apo Island Beach Resort. Are there other options aside from these two? 3. Diving rates in Apo Island Would really appreciate any info you can share. Planning on going there this April. Thanks! |

hes right, from bato santander you can take the fast craft, its faster and only 50 pesos. dungo mo sibulan and you take a 10 min drive to dumaguete, ingna driver adto ka sa terminal para zamboangita, 20 pesos ang plete padung didto last 2006, not sure if it took an hour i think it was less. the expensive part starts there, their pump boat rentals are very expensive and you can't haggle coz its run by a coop. when i was ther nov of 2006, it was only 1.5k for a banka good for 5-6 pax, now they say its more expensive. once you are in the island, every move you make is equivalent to some cash, the people there are very nice and the place is amazing especially for an underwater enthusiast and a nature lover. wish they could regulate and lower down all the fees.
