I you will travel asia, A bit of idea from my own personal experience:
Nice places includes:

1. Honkong - 5 days stay
sidetrip - China 1 day tour
- Macau - 1 day tour

The rest - spend your day with hk nice places, fyi hk is not a good place to shop sounds expensive. hehehe! so if you want to visit hk sulitin nalang lang tour. And also a small side bit Tong Chung station sa hk naa dinha ang outlet store a little bit cheap for branded items.

2. Thailand, Bangkok - Chang Mai, Ayutthaya, Bali... I used this map as my guide MapJack - Your City Online

- Nice place for shoping super barato. Fake items like lacoste2x naa na didto

3. Singapore - Malaysia

Don't miss KL its a very nice place, then tour sad gamay sa singapore.

Remember in those three countries mahal gyud ang food so bring super extra money.hehehe

hi I_reese_ii, we are also going to sing+malaysia this december, you can try check it out online sa mga hotels and airlines, so far cheapest is Cebu Pacific around P12000, then hotel grand central hotel (P5500)is good since naa sa orchard road but naa pa pud cheaper ha, padung malaysia either mag plane mga P3000 or train around P1500, then city tour sa malaysia(think via taxi nalang) then go to genting highland overnight.
computed for a singapore+malaysia around 35,000(hotel and airfares lang) a bit expesive though kai december peak season.

another option for accomodation in SG is to check Pinoys whose vacant room or beds are for rent, total suroy bitaw mo pirme, as long as naay matulgan nya kaligoan, payts na. pwede sad try mo sa summer tavern near chinatown or tresor's tavern sa lavender...

from SG to KL, agi na lang mos Johor Bahru's Larkin terminal. RM30 plite for 4 hours ride then going to Genting, sakay lang mos ilang service bus from Puduraya terminal, i think RM6.60 ang plite apil na cable car ride going up. just be sure naa moy reservation sa hotels did2 kay puno ra ba kasagaran labi na sa First World Hotel nga maoy pangmasa ug presyo. hapi trip then...
