My PC suddenly turns off (need help mga master)

ako PC ba kalit lang jud siya ug off wala sad blue screen.. then pg restart nko moload man cya pero kutob nlang sa windows loading screen mo off dayun ang monitor... karun kay musud na sa windows pero di sad mg dugay mu off nsad... unsay guba ani mga master?

dili kaha na trojan horse virus bai? try dwa scan imo PC, kay ana raba na ang trojan, mo off lang kalit imo PC.

di man off nga mo shutdown... kanang pawng ra jud kalit ang monitor pero ga sige pa andar akng cpu and naa ghapn power ang monitor

nakasuway nako ana, kasagaran ana sa power supply or loose connection sa cables sa IDE hard disk

yup, same opinion here, might be your PSU's protection circuits cutting in (e.g. due to too much current draw). would you mind telling us your PC specs. memory errors usually result in BSODs or reboots.

if this is the first time it happened, what did you do before this happened?

mobo - P5V800-MX
proc - p4 2.8GHz
vid card - geforce FX5200
memory - 1 256mb and 1 512mb
OS - xp 64-bit


running programs na nihappen ni first time kay:

winamp
mozilla firefox
utorrent
yahoo messenger

i was just about to change the song then ni ungot lang kalit so ako gi reset then kutob nlng cya sa loading screen igka human ug load mu.off ang monitor.. ako gi tang tang ang video card then ako gibalik mao to ok na musud na jud igka human sa loading screen but then again mu.ongut cya kadugayan

how many hdds, optical drives?
unsa brand/model sa power supply bro? imho, i don't think power draw is that big.

you mentioned that the PC hangs after some time. can you also check if the processor hsf is mounted properly?

2 optical drive and la ko kbaw sa brand sa ako power supply pero 500W ni cya

just to be sure your psu can handle the load, try to google online power calculators (to determine the minimum psu power needed for your PC)... sorry i forgot the site.

bro, did you ever try to burn-in your pc when you got it (bought as package or assembled)? problems like these can be found by burning-in your pc for at least 8 hours straight... try running prime95's torture test on your PC (with no other programs running). if it fails a burn-in run, chances are it can fail anytime when you're using it.

dugay naman ni akong pc i assembled it.... and usually ma lapas ug 8 hours akong gamit ani, ako gani ni pabuntagan usahay kay naa ko gi download pero last sunday ra jud ni cya ni ingn ani
