NEED HELP: Toshiba Dynabook SS Portege 3020CT

anybody here who knows about this laptop? my sis gave it to me to check what might be wrong.. whenever i turn it on, it says system disk failed press any key to continue... i wanted to go in its BIOS however i cant seem to find the button to go there... is there like a disk that i would need for this?? any idea please?? help!!!!!
