Default problem "A read disk error occured" "press ctrl+alt+del to restart"

my HD is western digital, i try u use it on my other pc and turns out to be ok :mrgreen:

then i try my seagate HD to the PC where my western digital HD is original attached in it turns out to be ok :mrgreen:

so i returned my WD HD to its orinal pc but the same problem occurs

please guys help me

I'm afraid if your HDD is already damaged. But let's not think about that now. Do you have important files there in your HDD joecansjr?

yup! including files of my sister...

im having so many problems ever since that "Funny UST Scandal" infected my pc (the problem that you help me solved with those links that you give me Sir...).

and now this morning i just found out that i could not explore on my flash drive on windows explorer, it has a message " application cannot be run in Win32 mode"... my CF card wont ope also, every time i attempt to open another window will open then it displays "open with"...

my HDD uses a SATA cable and i already replace the cable coz i have a spear on that cable...

ill try bios update, but how?

ever heard of a "Lemel" mobo?

made in china...

If you run an executable files which is below or above 32bit then that could be the problem. The application that you're trying to run is only capable running at 16 or 64 bit Operating System.

Ok try to slave the Western HDD to your Seagate in order to recover all your important files (I hope you can recover all your files). Tell us what happened.

is reseting the bios may help?
coz i already use western HDD on the other pc and its functioning very well...

for my CFC, what virus could possibly that be sir?

coz i already clean the "Funny UST Scandal n smss.exe"

In some case "Yes"...But in your case it won't help. The error occurred because somethings wrong with your HDD.

I'm not sure because there are virus too same with Funny UST Scandal but different in attacking.

If that's the case then try to repair the Operating System. Then let see if the problem persist.

if you are able to backup your files then it would be better to reformat and fresh install the operating system just to eliminate the possibility that your HDD still has a virus in it.

Then if stll persist then the last resort is reformat your HDD.

gud day...

i bought a new mobo, couse even if i format my HDD it wont detect any HDD device after hardware check

it's ok now and but have some problems with this "The D:\ application cannot run in Win32 mode"

is it a virus or corrupt registry
