Default Help: Problem with Core Speed

I will just post some screenshots of my cpuz results for you to understand clearly.

Is that normal? The Core Speed and Multiplier changes frequently. I have a 4 gig 1066 Corsair Dominator Mems.

I can post the memory timings or settings if it is needed but as for now I just want to ask if that's alright. Thanks.

Im not sure about the answer but, This is because of speedstep technology sa BIOS, where the system would allocate the requirement of the system when needed.

Hope it helps!

^ bleed214 already said EIST (Enhanced Intel Speedstep Technology) and C1E (Enhanced Halt State), let me provide you a somewhat accurate analogy and difference between the 2 technology (analogy is taken from Tom's Hardware Forum).

Quote:
Speed Step is a better version of enhance halt state... Think of halt as a toy car, forward and stop, and think of Speed Step as a car with a transmission, Park, and then gears 1-5...
