Partitioning a drive

mga bro,unsaon pag partition sa drive? kay kabalo fdisk to pero kung sa command prompt ko inside winxp kay restricted man cya dayon kung gamit ko og f8 b4 loading screen sa xp kay using command prompt kay dli japun cya,need pako og startup disk para ani? is there any other way para dli nko mag start up disk?..ty daan

pwede ka mag-reformat sir as the fastest way pero papas lagi ang files. then didto nimo i-set ang partitions. this is where you set your partition:

i-highlight ang "partitioned space" then press "C". then tagaan ka ani na screen:

sa kanang create partition of size, i-enter kung pila ka megabytes ang imong i-divide. remember: 1000 is 1gb of partition. 10,000 is 10gbs of partition and so-on.

pero kung dili ka ganahan mag-reformat sir, look for third-party tools sa google. naay daghan ana. i can't give you any kay wala man ko kagamit ana.

im not also mentioning about formatting the hard disk in that post of mine that you quoted

you can't change the partition size your hard disks sa disk manager. ingnon lang nato na 40g ang imong hd, 20g ang imong drive c then ang d kay 20g. there, dili na gyud na nimo ma-change. bisag himuon pang 10g ang c then 30g ang d. pero if ingnon lang nato na ang c nimo kay 10g then naa kay 30g na unpartitioned(which never happens most of the time kay himuon man gyud ning partition), pwede nimo tunga-tungaon ug kapila ang imong 30g na unpartitioned.

mahimo kau na bro.. 10gb sa C to 30gb... mas nindot pa wala na confirmation to format if i slave ang drive C and D.. unlike mg.format ka botable na CD.

kung sa disk management unsaon man? wala man ko makita unpartitioned nga drive dayon kung reformat nko ok ra pero dapat delete sa nko ang partition drive? dayon create og usab para naa unpartioned drive?

btw plano nko kay mag set og 3 drives,my hdd is 250gig sata..pwede ra ba to sa winxp setup mag create og partition? pero dapat delete sa ang partition sa?

makita ra na nmu bro ad2 i taod sa sata secondary nmu sa board makita rna nmu ang unpartition drive. i delete sa 2 ang partition para maka create nka og new partition. note: back-up your files before nmu i delete ang partition if naa ka files sa hard disk.

Use partition magic for sure partition. If windows XP setup imo way gamiton naa mahibilin nga unallocated space w/c is a waste. I prefer partition magic coz it will probably provide a full clean partition.
