i have 9600GT OC and vista ultimate x64. here's how you would do it get the latest driver from nvidia website or you can just use the default driver from your installer cd included in your VC package. after installaing your OS the vista will automatically download a driver from the net for most of your hardware if you are online. this includes the video driver. do not install the downloaded files for your VC just uncheck though is says recommended and use your own installer. then everything will be ok. i encountered this problem last week when i reformatted my rig.
