lemme guess,.. the very reason why chkdsk is triggers up bcoz, windows detects consistency on the drive... errors, unreadable areas, file system errors!
and i guess the laptop is not taken good care... my advice... dont be so harsh on the laptops especially when it is turned on.. why? bcoz, the harddrive turned on inside it... bumps, could lead that R/W head of the drive to touch the platter < serious damage could give to the drive. if you really need to move your laptop from place to place, handle it like a small baby,... keep in mind that small bumps hurts it :P |

naka agi na ko ani nga problem. what i did is right click ang drive nga mag sige og scan disk then click properties, then adto sa tools then adto error checking. check both boxes then start. it solved my problem with scandisk, i hope it will solve yours
