Default garbage video display... is it a video card problem???

garbage display on my monitor especially when i drag windows streaks of garbage would come out.
then after awhile the display would disappear especially when i have heavy graphics on my screen.

is this a video card problem or processor or memory?

thanks.

btw, two of my colleagues have the same problem which is quite a coincidence...

Garbage isn't a very elegant term.. it should be artifacts. :P

There are several reasons as to why that happens; it could be software or hardware related. Mind giving more information on the make of the video card, and as well as the PC specs?

What video card man are you guys using? What game/software are you also running when the problem occurs? Do you and your friends have the same PC (specwise) as well?

It is a big coincidence having your video cards failling at the same time. Have you tried updating the video card driver?

i think thats a driver problem. nag update ka sa latest firmware sa nvidia noh? try, roll back to the stock driver(driver package with the videocards original package). have experienced this before.

unsa ang directx na install nimo?

Yes always install the motherboard chipset driver first before anything else. In your case, it will be the nForce2 chipset driver from nVidia. After that, then you can install your Video Card driver.

skadtong ako kay sa warcraft na game during menu kay mg artifact. new ang card mao pa jud pgka taod then gi ilisan sa vendor, na ok. mao to gi ilisan nila kay the same day pagpalit man nako gi balik.
