Naa man gyud na bisan asa. Pero kanang tanan nagbagutbot tungod na sa internal politics and not about the company. Siguro reklamo lang na sila tungod sa ilang manager or supervisor/team lead but not the company in general. During my time it was also the same, ang reklamo kay about a certain manager/team lead/or HR ra gyud and not about the whole organization in general. Naa pa gani tong PDF document that was circulated, but that was about a certain engineer complaining about his management chain, and not to the rest of the other departments. I was blessed with a good management chain who understand our needs and a very good team lead and manager, he leads by example to the rest of us. To this day, after I left the company, daku pa gihapon akong utang kabobot-on sa akong previous management chain, I thank them for giving me the best experience while I was there.

Sa mga fresh grad, if given the opportunity to work in LRDC. Take the chance, like what tikboy has said, ayaw tan-awa ang sweldo, tan-awa ang opportunity - the chance to practice sa imong pagka engineer, for sure ma mold gyud na pag ayo imong skills.

this is true, naa uban depts nga grabe kaau ang politics, i was blessed k sa una akong manager k very approachable, nya wla kaau politics w/in sa among dept, dghan gani na suya nko k nice daw among management sa among dept, unlike sa other depts.....

This is the LRDC thread bro (Lexmark Research and Development Corp). Kanang naa sa MEPZA, thats LIPI (Lexmark International Phil. Inc.). Although sister company na sila, but they are entirely different companies altogether. Ang LIPI kay manufacturing, ang LRDC kay into Research and Development plus ang call center.

If you want, you can start a new thread for LIPI and direct your questions there, perhaps naay taga LIPI na istoryan na makabasa and explain.

Ang LIPI kay nagmanufacture na sila ug ink and ink cartridges, wala na sila nag manufacture ug printer hardware. LRDC is into Research and Development of printer hardware, electronics, software, device drivers, connectivity solutions, etc. Just because wala nagmanufacture ang LIPI ug ink cartridges, mohunong na ang drive for innovation, in developing new products, and ang pag research for new print technology. FYI, other than that, naa pay Laser printers, for which the market is actually on the uptrend, LRDC is also doing RnD on enterprise wide printing solutions (like for example bar code printers, label printers, ug kanang mo print sa imong boarding pass sa airport, medical imaging printers, etc.). In a few years time, when a desktop color laser printer would become economically viable, demand for inkjet printers will go down, and that would also mean LIPI will have less and less demand to manufacture inkjet cartridges, they would probably move on to manufacture other things like laser ink cartridges. LIPI is also not the only manufacturing plant for Lexmark, naay daghan, mainly for printer hardware naas China.
