As long you hold a US VISA (Greencard or Citizenship), it would be impossible for you to work in the US. And same goes with CANADA. I dont why they are so many schools in CEBU and advertising about high demand of LPN in the US, which in fact is not true. Again giving false hopes to our kababayans.

why opt for being an LPN when you can proceed as an RN? gagmay man sweldo LPN sa US, don't know bout Canada. much better kung mag RN ka.

@chad_tukes
well its kind of a rush. my girlfriend is being petitioned by her mother in Canada.. and we were thinking of maybe, if there's a way that maka adto pud ko... even as LPN, which i know gamay ang sweldo. but it would be a ticket to have a greater job opportunities there.. we were also thinking of getting "tied up". but mao sad lagi.. kailangan ug job para mo survive.

why not take the LPN course sa canada kay haron certified ka diretso, whereas if diri ka sa Pinas mokuha ug LPN course mora moeskuyla japun ka didto(morag refresher) before you can be certified and practice

Naku, don't even think bout studying in the Philippines for LPN coz that won't get acknowledged in US and probably in Canada. I dunno who told you what but people who are allowed to get licensure exams for Practical Nursing are the ones who went to nursing schools that were accredited by a State Board of Nursing. Don't waste your time and moneyyy.
