yes, quite true... when i was still single.
but when you have your own family, compensation would now form a big part in your decision to change jobs....

We have both Datacenters in LA and here in Cebu. Most of the time we remote the servers from here.
if server is totally down or some problem with the fiber-optic or any other harware issues we do have a third party onsite to check on it.

@tessai
yeah, for CSc you have a big percentage for Traveling in New Zealand and Japan. right now one of our accounts is in South American in Chili, they other one just arrive from Miami and New Zealand.

@crazy_lazy
you need to have skills sa imo field na applyan and much more to learn here in specially in Systems, Web and Dev...much more also to learn from hard coding and real-time hands-on experience.

@crazy_lazy
if you know how to speak english and a team player not sure what are other requirements tho.

all jobs are 4 years grad.

Guys, remember whatever company your are in, its up to your standard if you like the company or not. cause many people are transferring from one company to another, and some employees are saying this company is good compared to this... etc... just be proud that right now we do have a job and make that job yours for the long time cause there are lots of graduates right now who are willing to replace you even if the salary is lower than you are receiving.

hehe di pa kau ko ka.relate anang family2x for now. kai single pa man ko. yet i understand that somehow it is important. especially now that mahal na kau ang bugas... naa pa jud gatas sa baby.

so i guess compensation plays vital in considering a job nowadays.

yes... quite true... but the knowledge and experiences that you have gained in your job can never be replaced by anyone... it would be like gold... the longer you hold on to it the greater the value....
