The Open Jive Challenge is all about developing cutting-edge applications for desktop, web or mobile, that will address key issues that organizations/countries face today, while fostering interactivity between communities on the Internet. In developing these applications, the following Open Source Software (OSS) development technologies are used: Java technology, JavaFX, NetBeans, IDE, OpenSolaris, MySQL, Glassfish, Project Wonderland, Zembly and other OSS.

The Final round will be held on 18 July 2009 (Saturday) at the Technological Institute of the Philippines, Quezon City. The winning team will represent the Philippines in the Asian Grand Finals in Singapore on August of 2009. Adelante San Jose !!

weeeh!! CIT is the best.. hehe!! daug ang CIT pag.sabado sa Open Jive 2009..

though naa mga issues ang different schools, we can never say which school is better..unless cguro if we try to transfer to different school every single day to compare..i think a better school goes on how better the administrations, faculties, facilities and etc..

Hahaha. Good job technologians.
But i read in a blog that there was no 'declared' winner.
It's just that CIT is one step higher than the other competing teams.
Not that bad though as CIT still earns the distinction of representing the country to the inter-country challenge in Singapore.
Hope to meet the tiknoys there.

sir.. murag d mn cguro to tinuod nga blog.. nakabasa sad ko atoh. hehe!!
pero daug japun ang CIT for US$1000 and cellphone each contestant and the coach.. weeh!
wala lang ko kabaw sa unit sa cp basta samsung nga touchscreen,, hehe!
