What is your basis for tagging a school a "GOOD ONE"?

Here's my ranking of factors to say that what you are into is a good university or inztitute. (from highest to lowest)

1. Absolute number of professionals produced each year.
2. Passing rate in board exams.
3. Proximity to major industry locations.
4. Topnotchers in board exams.
5. Good facilities and learning environment-physical and mental.
6. Presence of alumni and faculty in various industries.
7. Long history of excellence.
8. Vibrant student activities.
9. Popularity of the institution.
10. The school's management.

USC has all these and in addition to that, USC is the oldest school in the Philippines and in Asia!

if more than half of the students in class fail, who do you think failed? the students or the teacher? i definitely think there's something wrong in the teacher's methods if more than half the students fail.. there are two kinds of teachers.. one who segregates the good ones from the bad ones.. and one who brings out the best in everybody..
