there's another thing that you get out from a college education --- something intangible that cant be taken out from you, like a lifetime achievement. Lahi ra gyud ang feeling finishing your studies from kindergarten to college, to finish all those years of studying and finally getting a degree - is something more precious than the piece of paper.

yes, its a gift that you can give to yourself. dili na gikan sa imo parents ni support ra na sila nimo imo gyud na nga lihok para makahuman ka. kay kung wa kay klaro mo school bisan unsa pa kadato imo parents dili gyud ka kahuman escuela. mao pod na nga treasure nga dili puede makawat sa uban.

And to add more ... each of us has different interpretations of what success means.
Kung imo interpretation sa success is madatu, daghan kwarta, etc. - you might be wrong in your interpretation. If this was your definition of success, then anybody is eligible - college diploma or not. Take for example Pacquiao, maypag nag boxer nalang ta kung mao na. Success is a measure of one's achievements. I've seen many successful people who are not even rich by your definition, they could be but these people choose not to. A close friend of mine (chem engineer) who has reaped rewards and patents for his work has stayed in the gov. earning a meager salary. He could have used his talents to commercialize his inventions, but he choose not to. He's contented with his salary, and still happily working for DOST Manila. For him, his wealth is in the number of products he invented to help humanity, and not the amount of money he has on his pockets. Going back to your definition, having a college diploma is also not a guarantee for success, but it does give you the tools out there to succeed, and a head start.. |

ang objective man gud sa makatapos pag eskwela mao nga
makatrabajo ug maayo. bentaha man gyud tong may diploma kung pag apply-apply ang storyahan. pero kung successful ka in anything na gibuhat mo in substitute sa pag aaral, well, go ahead! after all, financial security may ato gpangita why we need to complete studying...wan ko lang kung may ibang purpose aside from financial stability. |
