The 6th USJ-R ETEEAP Commencement Exercises witnessed the graduation of 158 competent professionals solemnly bestowed with their respective degrees at the Center for Performing Arts (CPA), Main Campus on April 25, 2009.
CHED 7 officials, school administrators, professors, and the families of the graduates graced the occasion, which highlighted the graduates’ acceptance of their hard-earned diplomas.
Recently, USJ-R Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) has been distinguished as “The Best Provider of ETEEAP in Central Visayas for Academic Year 2007-2008.” Over the consecutive years, it has been consistently recognized by CHED as the best implementor nationwide. The program has been a significant vehicle for the working individuals to earn a bachelor’s degree through undergoing rigid modular learning sessions for one year.
ETEEAP, as embodied in Executive Order 330, is an educational scheme which allows deputized schools to assess and give credit to knowledge, skills and learning obtained by individuals from non-formal and informal educational experiences like work experiences, seminars and exposure.
The new ETEEAP graduates also had their Recollection at the Talavera House of Prayer, Quiot Pardo, Cebu City last April 18-19.
Prior to their graduation day, they toasted their success during the Ring Hop Ceremony and Graduation Ball on April 22 at the Parklane Hotel, Cebu City, and a Baccalaureate Mass on April 24 at the USJ-R Main Chapel.
These special events are made possible through the headship of the USJ-R ETEEAP Director, Dr. Jeffrey V. Uy, and the efforts exerted by selected SDPC staff, ETEEAP Batch 6 Officers, READS scholars, and the student volunteers.
