@flygirl1829@yahoo.com: mao sad na ang prob sa IAU cguro. wala nila gklaro ang accreditation. para nako lang better to take up another course nya proceed nalang ug flying after graduating a BS course.

i'm not sure on the prospectus sa BSAT. wa ko kbaw kung naa bay PGC included sa 4-year course nila. i don't know sad kung required ba sa ila ang flying before mugraduate. better call and ask someone from IAU or Flight Dy.

Dan Bahinting in 1998 founded PPTC. Capt. Jessup M. Bahinting started JMB Aviation Services & Trading, a single-proprietorship business, in 1997. The latter was shipping and selling used airplanes from the US to the Philippines. Due to economic crises in 1998 the airplanes were not sold, therefore, Dan Bahinting leased the airplanes and open a flying school in Dumaguete that was Philippine Pilot Training Center - PPTC. There were 4 airplanes - Cherokee 140 - RP-C1401, Cessna 150M - RP-C2668, Cessna 152II - RP-C2669, and Cessna 172N - RP-C2670.

In 2002, Dan Bahinting and his father, Capt. Jessup Bahinting formed a corporation called AviaTour's FLY'N, Inc. to cater the Korean tourists and the flying tour over chocolate hills and other areas in Bohol was opened. The original Board of Directors of the Company and their shares were Dan Bahinting 60%, Capt. Jessup M. Bahinting 20%, Capt. Joedan P. Bahinting 10%, Capt. Brian Ted Pedeglorio 5%, and Jacquilyn Chua 5%. The company was then re-oganized in 2006 with a new Board of Directors and shareholders namely Capt. Jessup M. Bahinting, Jemar Rose Madrid (daughter of Capt. Jessup M. Bahinting), Kenneth Roy Madrid (the husband), Margarita M. Bahinting, and Zachary Tim Matas (nephew and the share will be transferred when he's 18 yrs of age).

In 2007, Philippine Pilot Training Center was officially closed and the new Aviation Training One International, Inc. was formed under the new structure and development plans. The academy caters Professional Pilot Training, BS in Airline Transport Pilot, Aircraft Maintenance Technician Course, and Aviation Business Management to Philippine and Foreign Students. A new scholarship program was then created to provide opportunities to Filipino students.

I suggest that you must have a proper source of information before making any statements in this forum since it greatly mislead people who do not know about the history of both companies. Additionally, both companies operates independently and does not have any tie-ups or connections on each other in whatever manner.
