    @davenz:

    Networking is a very broad term. What these people meant is "MLM" or to be more specific, kaning mga "MLM" nga pyramiding or ang earnings generated from mere recruiting. Sometimes we have to use our common sense in comprehending what "networking" really means. Yes, its true that the corporate structure of companies sometimes follow the typical "MLM" or networking hierarchy but it really doesn't mean nga networking sila in reference to MLM companies. It's more of authority or power. The CEO oversees everything, there are managers, there are supervisors, and there are people down the line. These people don't recruit in order to earn a salary, there's the difference.

    I agree with tsunade. Ikaw siguro wa kasabot brad.
    IMHO the reason why I stay away from networking or MLMs is because they aren't really selling products.
    They are more into recruiting people. The more people you persuade in joining, the more you earn and that's the main goal of it.
    Also there are enormous joining fees like a 7K package with overpriced soap or something like that.

    Kanang imong pasabot panghatag daw ug example. Kay if you are working in a CC di man siguro ka ga networking.
    If you are referring to referral bonuses per successful hire its still different. You are still working as a CC agent.
    By the end of the day you earned your money and you didn't scam anybody. You might even have actually helped someone.

    The keys for me here is that:
    #1 There isn't any joining fee. People who join can actually earn money based on their qualifications and what nots rather than paying some overpriced joining fee package with some whatevers.
    #2 It still is WORK not purely recruitment. It's not even multi-leveled (as far as I know you don't earn if your friend whom you referred to referred another friend then that friend referred another friend of that friend of your friend that got hired).
    #3 No promises of get rich quick, earn 80k as a student, earn while taking a dump, psychological schemes, marketing hypes and more.
