Default JOIN OUR USHERING TEAM!

Little Boy Productions is a Cebu-based theater production company. Among the shows we’ve produced are “Once on This Island,” “Art,” “Love Letters,” “Doubt,” “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” “Welcome to IntelStar,” “New Yorker in Tondo,” and Disney’s “High School Musical.”
We’re looking for ushers for our first play for 2007 – “The Boor and The Proposal” which will be staged on February 3-5 at the SM City Cebu, Cinema 2.
Ushers are responsible for managing the audience, taking their tickets, answering their questions, making sure they find their seats, etc. It’s hard work but it’s also fun!
It’s a great way to experience the backstage excitement of theater and meet new friends along the way. Ushers also receive a range of benefits – allowances, meals, tickets, freebies, etc.
For more information on joining the team, please text Jingle Saynes at (0915) 303-9478. You can also email us at treeya76@hotmail.com or connect with the “Little Boy Productions” account at www.friendster.com.

Default “The Boor and The Proposal” February 4 at the SM City Cebu Cinema 2

To open its 2007 theater season, Little Boy Productions will bring the Repertory Philippines production of ma 2.

Comprising of two one-act comedies written by Anton Chekhov, “The Boor and The Proposal” was a hit with audiences in Manila, where it played to packed houses during its three-month run last year. In “The Boor” a creditor hounds a young widow, but becomes so impressed when she agrees to fight a duel with him, that he proposes marriage. “The Proposal” starts out as an innocent declaration of love that goes horribly wrong. Packed with witty one-liners and rounds of physical comedy, “The Boor and The Proposal” is a guaranteed crowd pleaser. It is also highly recommended for high school and college students, as playwright Anton Chekhov is a leading literary figure and one of Russia's most cherished storytellers.

The talented cast of “The Boor and The Proposal” is composed of resident actors from Repertory Philippines – Niccolo Manahan (“Doubt”, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”), Jenny Jamora (“Aspects of Love”, “The Sound of Music”), Ana Abad Santos-Bitong, Arnel Carrion, Jejie Esguerra, and Dingdong Rosales. They will bring to life the humorous world of Chekhov’s Russia, aided by a unit set, period costumes and props that will be shipped in from Manila.

Presented by Little Boy Productions, “The Boor and The Proposal” will be staged on February 4, 2007 at the SM City Cebu Cinema 2. Tickets at 300 pesos are available at East,West Café at the Ayala Entertainment Center. Discounted rates for school group bookings are also available. Please call 254 9320 or 0917 624 3658 for more information.

^^bulaklak, i think coy2001 meant 'tsada' which is means 'maganda', in the Negros Oriental dialent of bisaya.

I myself wasn't able to watch the play itself so I couldn't recommend but I believe these also sell tickets at the entrance if you come early enough.
