lingaw bitaw ang I LOve you, You're perfect Now Change... maayo kaayo ang cast... sila ra gud 4 . ..
pas2x kaayo sila maka change ug roles... murag skitzo

probably for the reason that the bulk of the audience were teeners... basin they weren't sure of the reaction they'll get if they staged that too. there was even too much hype when "condom" was mentioned in the LASAGNA INCIDENT.
yup thats probably why. dagahan kaayo college studs nag watch... klaro kaayo its for their english subject kay mga sabaan kaayo.

**
ako favorite kay katong last scene.. katong dating and funerals.
hope we get to have more of these kinds of plays

Default "New Yorker in Tondo” strikes back

The hit comedy “New Yorker in Tondo” returns for one special performance on Saturday, September 16 at 10 a.m. at the CAP Art Center Auditorium along Osmeňa Blvd. For those who missed the original staging, this is a perfect opportunity to discover one of the most enjoyable and funniest plays to hit Cebu in the past few years.

Manila-based director Bart Guingona directs an all-Cebuano cast headed by Carissa Garcia Codilla as Kikay, Jude Bacalso as Aling Atang, Randolph Libres as Tony, Alden Reambonanza as Totoy, and Chiqui Cartagena-Lastierre as Nena.

“New Yorker in Tondo” is a rib-tickling comedy of manners written by Marcelino Agana Jr. A motley cast of characters converge in Aling Atang’s living room in Tondo, and a slew of funny and surprising situations unfold in the course of one lazy afternoon. Although it is a satire written in the 50’s, the central idea of how we view ourselves as Filipinos and how we deal with colonial mentality is still deeply resonant today.

Tickets at 120 pesos are available at East,West Café Ayala, telephone 415-8058. “New Yorker in Tondo” is a perfect co-curricular activity for schools. Please contact Little Boy Productions at 0917 815 5794 for more information and upcoming show schedules.

Default HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL coming to Cebu February 2007!

Here’s one development which will surely rekindle the excitement brought about by the movie: Hendri Go of Little Boy Productions proudly announces that High School Musical will have its Asian stage premiere in February (that’s a little over a month, mind you) at the SM Megamall Theater in Manila.

The stage premiere will be presented by Blue Repertory and produced by Hendri Go himself. Playing the female lead Gabriella Montez will be MYX VJ and recording artist Karel Marquez, the daughter of singer Pinky Marquez.

Playing the male lead Troy Boltron is newcomer Shark Alonzo, brother of theater actor and TV host Ralion Alonzo and son of film and TV actor Chinggoy Alonzo. The cast of 40 has been carefully picked from the 250 or so hopefuls who auditioned last November.

Chari Arrespacochaga, whose latest directorial job that was seen by Cebu theater lovers was Doubt, starring Cherie Gil and Niccolo Manahan, is at the helm. Dan Cabrera or ‘Teacher Dan’ of Pinoy Dream Academy is the choreographer.

Chances of the stage musical being brought to Cebu shortly after its Megamall stint are very big, Little Boy Productions being Cebu-based. Just keep posted for developments.
