"ipakita ang agi sa dan". makaporma kag graffiti maski dili mahalon na spray imung gamiton. just tell me if this thread is strictly for graffiti only, if ull only read from the first post to the last, u can see there's more than graffiti in here. one more thing, graffiti and street art doesnt set any limitation. way magbout sa artist maski papel pa ug zoy iya gamitun, as long as he is making art.
If you try and read properly, wala ko ni-ingon na "mahalon na spray" - I was referreing to "spray" against "baratuhon na pintal".
Yes, sakto ka na graffiti and street art does not set any limitation - kung "art-wise" or "creativity-wise" but not the medium. It's like saying you play hiphop music and you call and label your music as punk. There maybe no limit to influences but there are and or may be certain limits to labeling - as to "street art" there are land or may be certain limits to medium if you refer to a specific type of "street art".
Yes, naay daghan diri na nag-post ug "street art" works pero no one really cared if it's not "pure graffiti" not until now when the comparison between stenciling against spray painting against "murals" (mao na siya ang pag-gamit sa katong pintal na dili spray ha) against wheatpasting was brought up. etc. - because it would not be fair to compare the "detail" of a spray painted work against the a "detail" of a work done by non-spray painted medium.

peace.

we are not getting anything from this discussion. wa ta nagkasinabot, layo na kaayug gilagputan. ambot lang. i dont know if u got my point. what im tryin to say, is that ni go against man ka sa wheatpaste coz gusto nmo ipakita na spray imu gigamit, dli baratuhon na pintal but i dont see anything wrong with using baratuhon na pintal, as long as naa kay agi. speaking of agi, can u post more of your works using spray?

Wala ko ni "go against" initially. Honestly, I have nothing against wheatpasting not until gisugdan na nimo ug compare ang lahi2x na medium. Can you post any of yours, B? Can I call you B.?

"Graffiti (singular: graffito; the plural is used as a mass noun) is the name for images or lettering scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any manner on property. Graffiti is any type of public markings that may appear in the forms of simple written words to elaborate wall paintings"

Street art formats

Types of Street Art
Graffiti • Stencils • Sticker art
Wheatpasting • Poster Art

GIKAN NA SA WIKIPEDIA... BASA pd mo para makahibaw mo sa gipasabot sa usa ug ang giigo sa usa.. para walay lalis...

AGAIN, ang TITLE is "GRAFFITI SA CEBU"

mao lagi.. regardless sa price of the medium used. it is still art... no need to differentiate graffiti from street art.
