Man, the administrators must be Puritans (definition: A person excessively concerned about propriety and decorum). I wonder if Puritans take Fine Arts nude figure drawing or how they make love? Probably both in total darkness.

Well, I'm going to re-upload the files in the sites zerk suggested. I hope the admins there aren't total prudes.

@all: For those who haven't seen the images in the female breasts tutorials, revisit them.Â* I uploaded the images in Fapomatic which is a "free adult friendly image host."Â*

@vemp: I'm not sure if we can draw realistic breasts today as I just want to see the others draw them.Â* I'll bring the photo references next Sunday as I'm still saving selected photos of Big B's from The Big Breast Archive.

@zerk: Finally watched the AH videos. It seems I was wrong about geometric shapes. It does help construct the human body. I sit corrected. I was amazed how he built Supergirl's right hand. I also scanned the Jim Lee videos but the lighting wasn't great so I didn't continue watching the rest of the vids.

I'm almost finished with The Ultimates. Santini was right, comparing the comic book with the Direct-to-DVD movie is like comparing the universe with an atom. At least in the comic book, I now know why Thor's an environmentalist

here's how they do it.. computerized man gud. they scan all the pictures based on how much flesh tones in proportion to the whole jpg file by computer. so basically if you post a baby picture, it's gonna get deleted. mahal man i f they manually do it. imagine the milllions and millions of pictures that members upload everyday.

that least that's what my know-it-all cousin told me. pero it made sense so i problably would believe him.

just came back from dimsum break.. now, i know what a steamed rice felt in there. very warm.. hehehe... cool to see ultra fast artists like john and weebong who fnished ahead of sched.

too bad, nobody bought my HM mags.. you could've haggled. :P hehehe won't be bringing them next time except the ones for the prizes. and the reserved ones.. ansley and lostsoul.

Minutes of the Meeting (sort of)

Date/Time: April 30, 2006 2:00 - 5:20 PM
Venue: 1st Flr, Dimsum Break, Banilad Town Center (2nd Flr was off-limits with the airconditioner off)

Attendees (the most number so far)

Old faces (Non-participants)

* ansley (guest entry - Lustful theme)

* archie - artist friend of preloader (he's good, draw a demon guitar player)
* lostsoul
* luisa - artist friend of preloader (she's good, she draws cutesy-cutesy stuff like db)
* nikko - john_amor's cousin (very quiet guy)

Participants and their theme

* Trap in a nightmare - dichromatic_beagle vs weebong
* Wanna smash your face - john_amor vs santini
* Self-doubt - preloader vs vemp
* Hates himself/herself - mike and ryan (new face)

After the contest, we just spun off 3 groups with their own discussions.

Others

* santini showed us how he drew boobs. I kind of understand the anatomy and the "physics" involved of natural hanging boobs but santini gave us tips
on drawing supported boobs (i.e. with bra and tight shirts)

* lostsoul was caught red-handed trying to lift one of the prizes from zerk's plastic bag. he's now under the custody of arena models who love guys
with glasses and wears braces. Truth: He just photocopied some pages but we made sure he returned it by asking him to "deposit" his Rolex with
us first.

* Counterstrike competition was called of because vemp chickened out. He heard that I was the NEC CS MVP. Truth: vemp's going to db's house to
get some things. john_amor's going to church <snicker>.

* db, lostsoul and I checked out Cagnaan and saw nothing useful. ansley said he saw a Betty Paige photo album in the JY Square branch but I visited
JY's Cagnaan yesterday and didn't see it (sold already siguro)

Next week: We're going to continue drawing Ts. I'll bring some selected reference photos which I believe are varied enough to understand the anatomy and physics of drawing boobs).
