OT: If indoor, I need a D-SLR with a prime lens with a Gary Fong diffuser to fully capture their beauty If outdoor, then my point and shoot will do. I'm trying to find out where the more experienced photogs hear about bikini shoots here in Cebu. It seems there are a lot especially in the provinces sponsored by dirty old mayors and congressmen. It seems that a lot of "hospitality" women sideline as models but one can also <beep> them for extra cash or if they like how you shoot them with the cam, you can "shoot" them for free. I just don't know who to contact. Some say I should get in touch with their gay handlers. Hah, so that's what bug/\ws are called now.

Oops, shutting up now. Don't want to corrupt SUEDE.

@zerk: (OT) I already know about Sparke Modeling Agency because if I type "Cebuana" in flickr with SafeSearch off, I get to see some models shot by a certain Ossie Hermosisima and other lucky Cebuano photographers. Some of the models mentioned used to work for Sparkle. I only like Pia from their current gallery. I don't want to spend on models. I'll just wait for the next bikini contest. Sayang naa di-ay Ms. Labangon sa Elizabeth Mall but I don't think it was a great place to shoot and without a D-SLR with a zoom lens, I wouldn't be close enough.

Less of an OT, woot a Luis Royo figure!

::: The Honesty Meme :::

This is a fad going around a few online circles, and HbH chatted with me yesterday, indicating it would be fun to do. You're basically supposed to talk about some people in all honesty but never give away their names. You people reading this may know these people, you may not, I don't care. HbH and I read Gerry Alanguilan's version of this, and we found it interesting. I suggested that HbH do it first, but he's a princess, so here I go:

XXX: You were a pioneer in the local scene, and we all respected you for the ideas you had and the potential of the group that you put together. But when things actually started moving and we became visible, you became a self-obsessed, peer-degrading tyrant, and the lot of us will never forget that. I guess it's true that the limelight shows anybody's true colors, and man, yours were ugly. I don't know what's become of you, we still see your name in the papers from time to time, so we congratulate you on your success... if you can call it that; and all you had to do was lose all your friends. We all win, I guess.

XXX: You are unbelievably successful in what so many people (myself included) thought was a plan that would never bear fruit. And it cannot be denied that you are one of the scene's greatest talents. But what is up with you building a wall around yourself and cutting yourself off from the people who already adored you even when you were still a nobody? Nobody is asking you to spread the wealth, you know us better than that, but don't turn into the guy who was so happy with his fans that he neglected his peers. You have the power to wake up the local scene, and even though I'm not really a fan of your art style, any sort of artistic revolution is welcome in this time of creative retardation.

XXX: When we worked together you kept complaining that the local scene never goes anywhere and that we have so many great people that are ignored and overlooked, and yet all you ever do about it is sit in your house and play games all day. Sure you criticize artists, and most of the time you get the names wrong (which makes you a bit of an idiot), but that's all beside the point. If you want to do something about it, start something. Don't just berate everyone else. They're obviously not as passionate as you, if you really even are. Stop being the guy who just criticizes everyone, because believe me, things could get ugly if the tables were turned. Set an example. Shut the hell up, make the time, and just do it. You're obviously not satisfied with your life, so take the bull by the horns and start taking charge!

Hounded, you're next.

Man, oh, man, oh, man. Damn you, John!

XXX: I like your style before, but I can understand why it has changed as you turned pro. I always knew you would hit it big and I was right all along. I'm glad you still haven't lost that humility and have never forgotten your old pals. I pray you stay that way. But I just like your old style still, just like I like Johnny A's old Madureira-inspired style.

XXX: I really feel bad not being able to draw one of your scripts. I only finished the thumbnails, before I got busy with other things. I know it was generous of you sharing your stories for us to practice drawing from and I do appreciate you doing that. I'm really, really sorry.

XXX: I want you to know how pissed off I was when you made the rest of us feel like we had contractual obligations to draw those free scripts. And I tell you why? Because you didn't even volunteered to do one and I know you could draw. That's just not right, dude.

Okay.

Vemp, Johnny A told me to tag you.

Peace.

XXX: I hate you for ruining everything I write by inserting banner ads everywhere. You keep messing up my format and it really just pisses me off. I refuse to "click here to fight global warming" or to do anything else you force me to do just because you inserted yourself into my forum post.

Bastard.
