Totally up to you where you put them, dude. As long as people see what you have to say and learn from it, I'm cool. If you post your comment on my site, maybe you can link people to it through here.

Hmm, I think I'm going to put it here so that anyone who reads it who hasn't gone to your website may be interested to do so. I'll have to register my criticism one at a time, I think. I have to reread my thoughts on your thumbnail sketches a few weeks ago to make sure I'm not repeating anything (as I'm prone to do).

For the first page: well, I just thought that it would have been better if the onlookers are first shown to the reader from inside the vehicle in the third panel. It would have made the reader even more curious as to what strange event in the sky these people are staring at. I know you shifted to a worm's eye view to show the dog also being riveted to the same scene up in the sky as with the onlookers, to make the object of their attention more poignant, intriguing. However, you could still render it the way I suggested above and maybe have the dog on top of the back of some parked truck (maybe even have the mutt placing its front legs on the rails to elevate itself)-- that would really make it more intriguing.

Also, it would have been better had the truck been speeding along still in the same third panel, as it appeared otherwise in your drawing.

The other panels are just fine.

I love this scene-- this is where I think Bats truly defeated the clown.

I actually thought about putting the camera inside the car in panel 3, to show the bystanders through the windshield. But I decided to use the worm's eye view instead, so that I could show that the tires were stopping. Maybe a sound effect could help out. I dont know, but that was my way of doing that. That was my way of showing that the car is coming to a halt or at least slowing down. The dog is actually not important at all. He can lick himself for all I care, LOL. Thanks for the analysis, man.

Yeah, a sound effect would deal with that just fine.

Hahaha. And here I thought the canine was central to the concept, hehehe.

Yeah, and we can have Teen Titans: Year One na! Haha! Maybe Vemp or Suede can draw the rest. Anybody is welcome to add to that piece. It'd be great.

Komikasi Enterprise is now open for comic submissions! We're looking for fun, witty, engaging comics; comics that will leave us shouting for the next issue! If you have a comic series you'd like us to consider, send us a detailed summary of the series, and the first issue of your series.
Specifications

Size: 180 x 250 mm + 3 mm bleed; 150 x 220 mm drawing frame
Colors: Black and White; Screen-toned
Num of pages: 30-60 per issue
Language: English or Filipino
Theme: open; as long as it's interesting
Readers: young adults; no ***, please, and easy on the violence

When you send your first issue, save the pages in JPG format at 72 dpi. Since we're still evaluating, we

don't need them hi-res yet. As for the detailed summary, keep it within 5 pages. Let us also know how many issues your story will be. If you don't have the exact number, an estimate will do. Save your summary in RTF format.

Send your summary and first issue, along with your name, age, contact number, favorite ice cream and any other information you'd like to share about yourself to feedback@komikasi.com. Deadline is on September 19, 2008. We'll be waiting!
