@zerk: I've no cable but thanks for the heads up.

(OT) I post-processed this

http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...o_ordinary.jpg

to look like it was drawn on our Gaisano Metro sketchpads (but far from perfect)

I'm not sure if this is what a colored pencil drawing looks like. I was just playing around with PS.

Get the Robot Chicken Star Wars Special. Having no cable is not an excuse, since everything can be grabbed from the internet these days. Right?

So anyways, if you've watched The Dark Knight, I recommend reading the following books if you're craving for more Batman stuff:

Batman: The Long Halloween
Batman: The Killing Joke
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
Batman: Dark Victory (sequel to The Long Halloween)
Batman: Year One
Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again

These are probably the books where they got inspiration for the last two Batman movies, so try reading them if you get the chance. Where to get them? Bookstores are a start. If not, try your nearest shady torrent tracker website. There's a-plenty.

Have fun.

Agreed. Dark Knight Strikes Again felt like a forced story. DC just wanted a sequel for the money. Dark Knight Returns was a great story though. But Year One was better.

Vemp left out Batman: Cataclysm. I think some elements were lifted off of that as well. It was a big arc though, and involved all the Gotham heroes. Oh, and don't forget the OMAC Project. Post-Identity Crisis paranoid Batman FTW.

@zerk, vemp: (OT) Finished watching SW Robot Chicken. Poor janitor. He had to sweep Darth Maul, Mace Windu, and the Emperor off the floor. Hilarious! I might try stop motion photography

Cool! I also recommend listening to Wojciech Kilar's music from Bram Stoker's Dracula. Really great gothic and Romanian stuff. Vemp also listens to a lot of game music to feed his art. I don't play any games, so I rely on movie soundtracks.
