Thanks for the comment! Can't wait to get these done. What's funny is I got this huge Thor page done faster than a small Next Wave page. Weird.

About Soul Doctor's story... maybe the kingdom couldn't transform back to human form coz the invaders were... playing chess... for hundreds of years.

Mage went, "D'oh!"

Well don't let the fact that it's all boys stop you. After all, we ARE all gentlemen. MOO HOO HA HA!!!

Yeah, I remember "Believe." It was this animé story written and drawn by the lovely Jean Malgapo.

Heh, I just realized I still have all my old Popcorn issues. I thought I gave these away a long time ago.

For the art-heads, Sean Murphy posted something interesting in his DA about artists influencing each other. Click ---> http://seangordonmurphy.deviantart.c...rnal/19386003/
It's a good read.

Sean Murphy's journals are always very inspiring and motivating. He talks about art, the industry, fans, ideas, and stuff that gives artists (and fans) insights on the going-ons in the industry. It's a great read.

yuki, start posting your stuff. or at least give a link to your deviantart account. these guys are waiting in anticipation to see your work.

It is about a King and his people being turned to small chess pieces by a mage just to escape certain death when attacked by the invading enemies .
in the future the chess pieces ended up in a museum where a curious student will accidentally undo the spell and free the King and his men from the spell.
Now the mage wanted to go back to the past and avenge their kingdom from the invaders.
But they carried the present day student accidentally with them.

Let's scrutinize the concept though. Soul Doctor says they were turned into "small chess pieces." As opposed to... you know... LARGE chess pieces. AHA! Maybe THAT's how they avoided detection for thousands of years!

-----------

Fun comic book fact:

Lana Lang was Superman's first love.
"Lana" backwards is "Anal."
They are no longer friends.

Talking

HA HA! Okay, I'm over this powerchess thing.

Been swamped with work lately, so I haven't continued Thor stuff yet. Hopefully today, but we'll see.

Vemp and I saw Dark Knight yesterday. And you know how the hype says it's good? Well... honestly... it's better than the hype. The best parts are not in the trailers at all. This is quite possibly the best comic movie ever. It's not perfect, Christian Bale still does his weird voice thing, but that's honestly the only thing that irked me. Everything else made me ignore that. Lots of fanboy shoutouts without detracting from the story. These were smarter moments than the Marvel ones.

Watch it. Or question the legitimacy of calling yourselves comic fans.

Foreveeeerrrrrrr...
