I guess Mike's passing reminds us how volatile life is and also how precious time is. Most of the time (if not all the time), we take things for granted, let opportunities pass us by, and forget what are important. So John, go after that dream of yours man. Don't have any regrets.

Absolutely, dude. Thanks.

And speaking of going after my dream... (nice segue, huh?)

I have just finished the Next Wave batch of sequentials ---> Nextwave Sequentials (Part 2) Border Break
The journal entry has the plot I used, thumbnails, and links to the previous set of sequentials. I'd appreciate feedback and criticism. Wordpress doesn't require you to register to comment, so it's pretty convenient.

Vemp, myself, and whoever else will be meeting this afternoon at Pier One.

Cheerio.

Anyone else who wants to join us in our little gathering later, feel free to come. Be sure to bring drawing materials, if none, we can lend you ours.

Jeez, man, toys like that would be perfect for our Marvel Superheroes tabletop RPG. I'm green with envy!

Yeah, Michael Turner is still one of my favorite artists, man. I'm depressed he passed away at a very young age. Well, what can I say, life is too short most of the time.

Rest in peace, Michael, may the great comic-book artists who went ahead welcome you in their company.

Peace.

I am summoning the strength to begin working on my Thor sequentials. 11x17 is still daunting to me. Greyskull, send me your power.

Preloader and I have just finished our collaborative piece. He's probably the best colorist I know (you owe me a beer), and if you wanna see the magic our manhands did together ---> Steam and Feedback Border Break

EDIT: Anyone feel like meeting up at Bigby's this Sunday?
