and

Windsor-Smith has a deep influence on Jim Lee's style, by the way.

Thanks.

@HbH: I'll look these up too. I saw the real deal during my college years but didn't have moolah (reserved for dating girl friends then,
hormones first, comics later).

I won't be <beeping> H. Ramos's Revelations anymore. Found <beeps> of his earlier work, Crimson
(sample here: http://evildeadpony.tripod.com/crimson.html). I can't seem to determine if Humberto's work
is manga-ish or Disney-ish.

@zerk: I see Joe Mad's influence though. I'm seeing this guy's influence in X-Men First Class's Roger Cruz and Batman Tenses Cully Hamner.

Speaking of Batman Tenses, this is the first time I actually seen Batman threw a Batarang into somebody's eye sockets (gawas eyeball). He's
also using his Bathook to impale people through the hands or shoulders. This kind of Batman I like What other Batman graphic novels depict
him as a very, very violent vigilante. The Dark Knight Returns Batman was a wuss compared to Batman Tenses.

I'm glad I listened to you guys. Some of the books in my list aren't really collectible-materials. Although GI Joe Snake Eyes Declassified
was rated high in Amazon, the art isn't really that good (blondie di-ay si Snake Eyes, still reading chapter 1). I finished X-Men First Class a few
hours ago, pambata. Just like watching X-Men Evolution. Spider-man Loves Mary Jane is just like reading Betty & Veronica (yeah, yeah, it's so
gay). Miyazawa's characters look like dolls with the cheek highlights. Found a good source but sadly using "rabitshear" so I can't share the link
here. I still don't know how to use MIRC to <beep> although I found a number of #comics room. Patudlo lang ko next meeting.

By the way, is this good, Tsutomo Nikei's Wolverine Snickt!

TPS? why get all the Hellboy trades!

Good art! good story!

Bitaw, try these:

Batman: Jekyll & Hyde
Arkham Asylum Living Hell
Batman Black & White v1 & v2
Avengers - Red Zone
Daredevil - Father
Books of Doom
Loki
Spider-Man & Black Cat - The Evil that Men Do
Wolverine - Netsuke
Batman - Arkham Asylum
Villains United
Superman - Secret Identity
Wanted

kana lang sa, basin naa nasad ka sa uban. "Snikt!" is okey lang, if you're a fan of Nihei's work then I guess you should try it.

@vemp: Thanks. Will look for them. I'm still reading The Authority (so that's the Jenny Sparks Planetary was referring to). Both share the
same theme no? Just found out The Midnighter and Apollo are Gaimen. john_amor already gave me Superman: SI. Also finished Wanted
a long time ago. Murag Hitman siguro ni although wala pa nako na <beep> Hitman. The Sentry's ending was a let down. I don't get it. The
Sentry = The Void? Finished Snikt! this morning. Murag ra Wolverine versus Aliens/Machines of Matrix/Akira combo.

@zerk: It's okay. While I like Jae Lee's figure drawings, I don't feel I'm reading an action packed comic book. The truth is, I was bored reading the Sentry. I
liked The Authority more despite it not taking itself seriously (murag overused naman tirada other superhero teams) kay mas daghan action, and very brutal at
that (heads cracked like eggs, bodies exploding, body of the previous doctor getting burned to a crisp because he was sorry for his sins, then the engineer
kicking the head and it tumbling away, now that's what I call action). It does makes sense. 1950 - Superman versus Lex Luthor, 2007 - Superman versus Lex
Luthor gihapon. Supes, i-salvage na nang upao (not you vemp). Same for you Bats. How many people will die because you can't bring yourself to kill the Joker,
at least break his elbows, his knees and spine para dili na kalihok buing if they don't want to kill them. Or just put their brains inside jars, they're alive but can't do
anything, bwa ha ha! If I were a Superhero, I'd join the Authority. I'll destroy the CPP NPB, Abu Badafs, mga corrupt politicians, atbp. I'll destory all factories
and give countries the technology for eco-friendly manufacturing. I'll be a god!

Yipee! Found Wolverine: Evolution @ PowerBooks Megamall. P 979 pesos ra! P 29 pesos cheaper than if I'd bought it from Amazon (+ S&H of course). Also bought McCloud's Making Comics. Still looking for Batgirl Destruction's Daughter. I like Pop Mhan's dynamic panels. Check out http://www.popmhan.com/gallery/pages/

@Weebong/Diem: Also found the published work of last year's(?) Neil Gaiman contest. Didn't buy it because it
wasn't yours. Mwa ha ha ha! Si Leinil Yu pa dyud ang cover artist.
