@Lostsoul: Achievement? I do not credit myself for the club's continued existence. With you visiting Harvey, I'm sure that you'd be as good as him in no time.
@zerk: Thanks for the heads up but last Sunday's outline drawing was just a test whether I could do it or not. I still need to draw a lot from observation or at least from references to build a large mental reservoir to draw from (tip from Mr. Neville Page: one can't draw a convincing dragon until one has drawn an alligator or a snake or something to this effect). One of you said that 'tapol' is choice and I agree. Gitapol ko drawing but maybe I should start again with 30-minutes a day sketching just to warm up again and extend to an hour once I get the artistic juices flowing again. My chakra is blocked lang siguro. Awoom... Awoom... Speaking of J. Amor, I think the kid has what it takes to make it big. I've seen a lot of webcomics and frankly speaking some of them aren't as good as his work. We just need to encourage him more. @HbH: I've sailed the seas of Google and can't find Tom Nguyen's teaching about how to use a squid's defensive liquid. Wala pa pud Stephen Platt's part 2. @all: Vilppu's complete <beep> is slowly but surely <beep>. I'll call for a meeting to <beep> a master kape. I hope to find a dual layer dee-bee-dee. I'll give it to John Amor first then text-i na lang siya if you want to <beep> it. |

Here's an excerpt from an interview of Christos Gage on Iron Man: Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Annual #1 from here.:
_________________________________________________ "Christos Gage: ...Tom Brevoort was happy with my work on the World War Hulk tie-in issues of the ongoing Iron Man book (#19 and 20), so he mentioned he was interested in doing a self-contained story that captured the flavor of the old Agent of SHIELD tales or the James Bond films, and asked if I'd be interested in writing. Not that I needed much persuading, but when Tom sent me samples of the artist he had in mind, Harvey Tolibao, the mission became one I couldn't help but choose to accept! NRAMA: What else has Harvey done? CG: Harvey's done some great work on Dark Horse's Star Wars comics, but this is his first Marvel job. It won't be his last. Everyone at Marvel was blown away by what he turned in, and the minute he finished this Annual, he moved on to drawing my story in What If? Civil War...!" _________________________________________________ Enjoy! |
