Stephen Platt is indeed "awesome" as in rob liefield's awesome. He did a lot of work for awesome. you can see his liefield's influence. another Awesome alumni i dig is Keron Grant. if you havent checked him out yet. you should.


you can use lighter fluid and use a cotton to spread it evenly on a tracing paper. make sure it's those slippery one. the cheap ones with a bondpapery texture won't work as well as the expensive one. if you're really cheap like me, no need for lighter fluid. I dont smoke either. so...

Hahaha, yeah, Liefeld's influence is obvious in Platt's style, though I think the latter draws a lot better than the former. And, yeah, I admire Keron Grant's style too, man.

thnx for the SPLATT. Lostsoul's gonna drool over this. oi you also did the assignment but we both didn't finish it. I think db also did hers. btw, after i viewed SPLATT quick thumbnails (its bigger than what i thought it would be), i was thinking of re-doing the assignment again.

be doing. He does gesture, he skips the spheres, cubes, and cylinders (but he's mentally thinking about them), he sketches, then he details.
