@josephdc...i suggest we'll talk about the bookclub first...mga plans like vebues, membership, sched, book genres, etc. Okay ra ang 4-5 people to start this one. basta masugdan lang bro. the club will grow in number in time
@luthienne..kita kits @prakx..calabria coffee is beside red ribbon bakeshop diha sa cocomall across from cebu doc. gamay ra kaayu ang place bro. magbutang nalang ko table card nga naay "bookclub" ugma na...see you in Calabria Coffee at 9:30AM!  |

Milestone jud ni ha. Nitunga ang Bookclub Founders: Luthienne, Josephdc, and Velvett..hehe  Discussion topics were: 1. club's purpose / goals / mission 2. membership / group composition 3. book selection 4. venues, food, theme, activities, costs 5. schedule / calendar 6. other matters - ex. personal stories (preferred genres, how we got started reading books etc., reading styles, etc., mga plano sa kinabuhi etc hehe) Plan of Action: 1. Meet next week with other members (sched and venue to be set). Agenda would be: >Bookclub Briefer - sharer: Luthienne >Club cost / logistics - sharer: Velvett >Facilitator's Rules of Order - sharer:Josephdc >Book Selection >Bookclub Name First Bookclub Gathering: last week of January 2008 >host: Velvett (to take care of venue, food, schedule, etc.) >facilitator: Josephdc (to lead the group discussion) >book: _______________ Cast a vote on the title/book for the first gathering/discussion next month! ^ngek dili jud bro...dili ni elitist na grupo...in fact one of the goals is to encourage reading among us filipinos...see? aw apil ang non filipinos pud...noble kaayu ni nga mission ni josephdc hehehe...
open to ALL whether booklover, booklover wannabe, interested in expanding reading interests (like try ka other genres), or you just want to get the discipline of reading at least one book every 4-6 weeks mao ni ang tumong sa group, aside from socializing with others of course. sige apil mo sa meeting next week. post your available sked. again, open to all! |

@Luthienne and Josephdc - my apologies! karon pa ko ka realize nga late diay akong relo ug usa ka oras! waaa mao diay to ingon mo nga late ko? i thought na late ra ko balig 15 minutes...1 hour and 15 minutes diay! as in na late ko diri sa akong trabahuan ug balig usa ka oras...i thought 1pm pa alas dos na diay! and i thought 11:30 ta nanggikan...12:30 naman diay to oi...gipanggutom na mo adto? tsk tsk tsk .... |
