Default Re: The Dark Knight

I dig this choice. Usually, the Joker is depicted as being older than Bats. I think Heath is younger than Christian Bale, so I have a feeling that they'll be showing a Batman/Joker relationship unlike any that's been depicted before.

I hope they won't make him a mob boss/gang leader, as in all his previous incarnations. I mean, the guy is obviously nuts, and gangsters don't like following boss's who are obviously nuts. In fact, if a mobster were to suspect that their boss was going nuts, or showing any odd quirks, that boss would be whacked by his own people. Usually the guy who did the whacking would end up being the boss himself.

But there ARE certain types of criminals who become followers of crazy people. Those involved in religious cults for example.

Me, personally, if I was writing Dark Knight, I'd make the Joker a Charles Manson type of guy, his "family" doing his bidding.

That I can buy, better than the mob boss Joker as played by Jack Nicholson.
