Truth is there is no way to know until death or the Second coming which ever comes first. The Bible says that this is Satan's ream and the Hebrew have been hunted as their prophet had predicted. Satan hates the Jew, and Christ was a Jewish Rabbi and the Bible is a Hebrew book. I am not Hebrew rather I am a Gentile. I look at the historical aspect and the complexities of the original Hebrew text (Bible Codes) the prophecies of the text and the historical events. I read translated versions of the Dhammapada, Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads, Orah, Nevi'im, Ketuvim
, Tao Te Chin, The Apocrypha, Old Testament, New Testament, Several Hidden books, the Qur'an, Egyptian Book of the Dead, New Age, Occult, Demonology, and half a dozen North American Indians beliefs and Prophecies. I also have read more science text than most. I read, learned, observed, compared, weighed, and then chose to be a Born Again Christian and follow the teachings of Christ.
Hebrew text predicted the coming of the Christ and he came as written 1,300 years before his birth. The New Testament tell of his teachings, and his second coming. The events of the world today are fulfilling the prophecies of the New Testament, and half a dozen other text and prophetic writings. I am very comfortable with my choice.
That is why I laugh when someone tells me how by being a Christian makes me brain-dead or close-minded, especially a youngster with only a few distorted bias books and a couple of years on the subjects. They will have to spend 12 years of hard reading and research before they even earn the right to make such a statement. I know the years I have devoted in research and fellowship with religious authorities of eight different religions. They call me close-minded and they have not even learned how to use their minds yet. I am so far pass them that they will take another decade to even begin to figure everything out. They are only being trendy, arrogant, smug, and displaying an ignorant close-mindedness that far exceeds that which they accuse me of.
I have two questions for you,
a.) How do you know that you are not being used as a tool by Satan, and being used to take the faith of a loyal follower of GOD and Christ?
b.) And if you are being Satan's tool, do you think GOD of Christ will be pleased with you?
