Well, the vatican knows that The Gospel of Philip is authentic when discovered at Nag Hammadi, Egypt and the bible is just a compilation of books and therefore, never complete. Have you heard of Irenaeus who compiled the bible? He even made such error in deciding what and which to include those gospels. He asserted in his own logic, that since the universe has four elements, it is reasonable that there would only be four gospels. Is that logical?
