I'm the proud owner of a Compaq Presario x1500, part of the x1000 series of the product line. Recently, after five years of owning it, its LCD backlight's been turning off and on whenever it wants. I've read that these are classic signs of a.)bad lcd inverter and/or b.)bad lcd backlight lamp.
Would anyone out here know where I could get either or both, lcd inverter and/or backlight lamp? Prefereably here in Cebu lang? I've seen a number of them on eBay, but past experience with eBay has made me list it as my "last option".
The inverter's model/part no is: SPS 336994-001
Any help would be really really appreciated.
