But we all know that every element in this universe existed millions of years apart.

The problem of "big bang" theory is it is too random.
Randomness does not result into a system.
If you put together carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen and other elements, chances are in millions of years it will never form into a man.
Therefore we are created by a superior being.
I think we shouldn't read the creation story in the Bible literally. I think we can believe in a Creator and the creation of the universe, and the world and mankind in it, and at the same time believe in the Big Bang theory.
