No, I totally disagree the sentence regarding collage graduate.
I am in the programming business since 1980, and all good programmer I know are not graduate in any computer related subject. They are all "computer freaks", using the computer as a hobby, self-studying by doing.

If I would hire a programmer, I would not care a little what collage graduation he/she has. I would look at his/her experience, how he/she react to certain programming related questions.

Anyway, thats my opinion.
