my mixture on a 1.5 liter bottle:
500g of brown sugar..i use PANDA or SM repacked brown sugar.
1/2 teaspoon of Active Dry Yeast ( bought one at SM from a store that specializes in baking)
Dissolve the sugar (500g) with about 300mL of water.. you could use warm or hot water in dissolviing it, but make sure its room temp already when mixing the active dry yeast.
Dissolve the yeast on a cup of water, or less than a cup (room temp).
Combine the two mixture, having about 700mL to 800mL of water (i use tap water). Sa ako, it would bubble after 30 minutes or an hour.
Some have tried nga i-gulaman ang sugar (add gulaman) to have a uniform output and longer lasting, pero wala pako ka try, still have to experiment on it.
Ako mixture would last to 7-10 days, depende sa panahon.. temperature affects the output of CO2. Mas bugnaw, gamay output, if init ang panahon, kusog ang bubbles.
